EnneadTab
Terms of Service
All intellectual property in EnneadTab belongs exclusively to Sen Zhang, the creator of EnneadTab.
Agreement
These Terms of Service are a binding contract between you and Sen Zhang covering EnneadTab: the website at https://enneadtab.com, the applications reached through it, the desktop plugins and add-ins, and the related game, documentation, and APIs (together, "EnneadTab" or the "Service").
By signing in, installing a plugin, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service for an employer, client, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.
Who operates EnneadTab
Sen Zhang is the creator of EnneadTab and the person who offers the Service. Questions about these Terms go to szhang@ennead.com.
Who may use the Service
The Service is for people Sen Zhang allows to sign in, including people who authenticate with an allowed work email. You must be at least 18 years old. Access is a privilege Sen Zhang may refuse, limit, or withdraw at any time.
Intellectual property
All intellectual property in EnneadTab belongs exclusively to Sen Zhang, the creator of EnneadTab.
That ownership covers, without limitation, the EnneadTab name as used for this software, the EnneaDuck mascot, logos and trade dress, the website, source code, object code, build and deploy systems, plugins and add-ins for any host application, scripts, prompts, models shipped with the Service, documentation, APIs, visual design, graphics, animation, sound, game rules, virtual items, and every update, improvement, derivative, and modification of any of those, whether or not registered and wherever they exist.
These Terms give you a limited right to use the Service. They do not sell EnneadTab to you. They do not assign, license back, or otherwise transfer any ownership of that intellectual property to you, your employer, your client, or anyone else. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Sen Zhang.
You will not remove proprietary notices. You will not copy the software except as required to run it, publish it, sell it, rent it, sublicense it, or build a competing product from it. You will not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the limited extent a statute forbids this restriction.
If you create a modification, plugin, script, or other material that is based on EnneadTab, or that cannot reasonably be used apart from it, you hereby assign to Sen Zhang all right, title, and interest in that material, including all intellectual property rights, upon creation. You will sign any further document reasonably needed to record that assignment. This assignment does not cover Your Content, defined below.
If you send suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you assign all intellectual property rights in that feedback to Sen Zhang and waive any claim to compensation or attribution, to the extent the law allows.
Names and marks of other companies — including Ennead, CannonDesign, Microsoft, Google, Autodesk, Revit, McNeel, Rhino, and Vercel — belong to their respective owners. Mention of them on the Service is for identification only.
Limited license
While you are allowed to sign in, Sen Zhang grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Service for your own professional work. Plugins are licensed, not sold. The license ends when your access ends, and you will stop using and delete local copies of plugins Sen Zhang asks you to remove.
Your content
"Your Content" means files, models, drawings, specifications, text, images, and other materials you or your organization submit to the Service in the course of your own work. Sen Zhang does not claim ownership of Your Content. You keep whatever rights you already have in it.
You grant Sen Zhang a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, process, transmit, and display Your Content only as needed to operate and secure the feature you used. Sen Zhang does not use Your Content to train a general-purpose model unless that feature tells you so before you submit it.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content and to grant that license, and that Your Content does not violate law or anyone else's rights. You are responsible for Your Content and for how you use output the Service produces from it.
Acceptable use
You will not:
- break, probe, or bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls, or use another person's account;
- upload malware, or interfere with the Service or its users;
- scrape, harvest, or resell the Service or data you are not authorized to take;
- use the Service to violate law, or to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
- misrepresent output of the Service as professional advice you did not check;
- use the Service to build or train a competing product.
Accounts and desktop plugins
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Sign-in may use your organization's Microsoft account, a work-email password, or, for an allowlisted administrator only, Google. Desktop plugins use a short-lived signed token after you approve them in the browser. You will not share tokens or attempt to forge them.
Professional work and automated output
EnneadTab is software. It is not an architect, engineer, or lawyer, and it does not provide architectural, engineering, code-compliance, or legal advice. You remain solely responsible for designs, calculations, stamped documents, and any decision you make with the Service. Output, including output from automated or AI features, can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable. You will review it before relying on it.
AI features send the prompt and related context you submit to a model provider (today, Google Gemini) to produce a response. Do not submit information you are not allowed to disclose to that provider.
Third-party services
The Service depends on independent products, including host applications such as Revit and Rhino, sign-in providers, hosting, and model APIs. Those products are governed by their own terms. Sen Zhang is not responsible for them and does not warrant that they will keep working.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEN ZHANG DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. SEN ZHANG DOES NOT WARRANT ANY RESULT YOU OBTAIN FROM THE SERVICE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEN ZHANG WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR PROJECT TIME, WHETHER OR NOT SEN ZHANG WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. SEN ZHANG'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SEN ZHANG FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
These limits apply to every theory of liability, including contract, tort, and statute. They do not apply where the law forbids a limit, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those jurisdictions the disclaimers apply to the fullest extent allowed.
Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sen Zhang from and against any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost, and expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, your professional work product, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or of someone else's rights.
Suspension and ending access
Sen Zhang may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or suspend or end your access, at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, your content license for copies already made to operate the Service, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and disputes — survive.
Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, excluding conflict-of-law rules. You and Sen Zhang consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York, except that Sen Zhang may seek injunctive relief in any court to protect intellectual property.
To the extent permitted by law, you and Sen Zhang waive any right to a jury trial, and you may bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. Any claim arising out of the Service or these Terms must be filed within one year after it arose, or it is permanently barred, except where the law requires a different period.
The prevailing party in an action to enforce these Terms may recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs from the other party, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes
Sen Zhang may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. If you keep using the Service after the new date, you accept the update. The version in effect on October 1, 2026 is the first published version of these Terms.
Other terms
If a court holds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part is modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms. Sen Zhang may assign them. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Sen Zhang about the Service and replace earlier understandings about that subject.
A heading is for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation." These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, or agency relationship.
